National Suicide Lifeline Training Video

Program Description:

The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is an organization of over 145 crisis centers in the United States that respond to over 60,000 crisis calls a month. This organization works with its centers to bring them the latest in suicide assessment, emergency intervention and follow-up and supervision of crisis workers. These new practices will be presented and discussed.

Lee Judy, LCSW. started his crisis intervention work about 30 years ago as Executive Director of Life Crisis Services in St. Louis where he worked for 15 years. Since then he has been involved in national suicide prevention work with the American Association of Suicidology and now with the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline where he was recently the Director of Standards, Training and Practice and is now focusing his attention to continuity of care
