“I’ve always had a natural tendency toward compassion and kindness, and am generally the person who roots for the underdog. My interest in psychology started when I read a book in high school about a troubled teenage girl who was able to heal and find happiness through the help of her therapist. I began to read more about psychology and human behavior, quickly becoming intrigued and fascinated with the courage and ability of people to overcome tragic and disturbing life experiences. I believe all people have the potential to lead their own version of a happy and fulfilling life.”
